  When I was learning FORTRAN, I tried to debug a program by
changing a variable into a two-dimensional array.
For fun's sake, I called it LOVE.  The error message from
the compiler struck me as particularly sentient for a program
and I kept it enshrined for years:

**** Love is defined as an undimensioned variable ****
