Just the thought of an oldie but goodie will bring a few giggles from this body. I'll often read along, although I know perfectly well the upcoming punchline. Often, it's interesting to see if the author has some unique twist I haven't heard in the version I know and love. Since most of the good jokes have been made (so it seems) there must be allowances for repeat performances. It seems that the only new jokes coming out are either related to current topics (eg, AIDS) or are homemade stinkers (pity the poor soul who can't stomach them). However, it's another story when a joke appears on the net again and again and again. Check the back jokes before launching forward. PLEASE! One 12 Days of Christmas is sufficient (and possibly necessary). That's about it for now. -Ken (...!uiucdcs!uiuccsb!kaufman) Kaufman PS: By the way, that funny symbol everybody uses to denote extreme sarcasm: what in the world is that supposed to be???
