       The  Growing  Stage,  in  residence  at  the   Black   River
       Playhouse,  Grove  Street,  Chester,  NJ  will  present  the
       musical "Hans Christian Andersen" (book  by  John  Fearnley,
       Beverly  Cross,  and Tommy Steele; music and lyrics by Frank
       Loesser) on  Thursday  December  15th  at  7:30  PM,  Friday
       December  16th at 8:00 PM, and Saturday December 18th at 2PM
       and 4:30 PM.

       The wondeful world of  make-believe  is  captured  in  "Hans
       Christian  Andersen",  based on the classic film of the same
       title.  Blending the beloved tales  of  Thumbelina  and  The
       Ugly  Duckling  with  Andersen's  life as a young man, "Hans
       Christian  Andersen"  captures  the  innocent  delights   of
       childhood's "let's pretend".

       The  Growing  Stage  is  a  professional  company  of  adult
       performers dedicated to quality theater for young audiences.
