EECS Lines: 11 as someone who was once close to the action, i can report that the btl-mh site really did work for about a week. then it was learned that csnet would want big bags of money annually for the service (which, if i may aside editorially, sucks), so interest quickly waned. (it is **not** true that coincident to this revelation a conspiracy was hatched within btl to destroy csnet by providing better services to universities for free through frequent, costly, and unaccounted uucp polls by major btl sites.) the people originally involved (who shall remain nameless to protect their loss of innocence), have now lost all interest. chalk one up to mean and lean. among the nameless
