Message-ID: <298@hogpc.UUCP> Date: Tue, 6-Dec-83 14:01:36 EST Article-I.D.: hogpc.298 Posted: Tue Dec 6 14:01:36 1983 Date-Received: Fri, 9-Dec-83 02:27:04 EST Lines: 23 I have been told by a Doctor a few years back that I have an irregular heart beat. More recently I was having a stress fitness test (not a stress EKG) and the women performing the test suggested I get an E.K.G done since she detected an irregular heart beat (she was not a Doctor). I went to the medical dept in my company and had one done, and was told it was fine. I have felt my heart beat irregulaly myself, and would like to know if this is common for a very active person. Normally, I swim about 8.5 (or more) miles per week, and run between 15-23 miles per week. I am 26, and female, with my family history having no heart problems. I wanted opinions if anyone knows anything, before I decide whether or not to go to a cardiologist.
