Welcome to the newsgroup for medical & health related material.
The charter of this newsgroup is quite broad, including (besides the
obvious) things like the politics & sociology of health care, news
items, physiology & anatomy, 'mental health', etc.

Since there is a potential problem here with someone incurring liability
for practicing medicine without a license, I recommend that we keep this
in mind, and in particular:

	1) Cite sources whenever possible.

	2) Don't present yourself as a medical authorities unless you are.

	3) Avoid presenting your ideas/suggestions as instructions on
	   what someone else 'should' do for some medical problem (this
	   might legally qualify you as 'practicing medicine', which
	   is probably o.k. if you have the right credentials).
