I have received several requests for information about a comment I made in
passing concerning the price of the c64.  Most of these came from the arpanet
and hence, I can't reply by mail.  The ad in question is by:

They sell the c64 for $99 mail order.  There is a catch however.  You must buy
$100 of their software to get that price on the machine.  They seem to have a
good sized collection of software.  I can't vouch for the quality of the stuff
though.  I haven't done business with them; I'm just passing this information
along.
