Message-ID: <2904@utcsrgv.UUCP> Date: Tue, 6-Dec-83 17:14:12 EST Article-I.D.: utcsrgv.2904 Posted: Tue Dec 6 17:14:12 1983 Date-Received: Tue, 6-Dec-83 17:33:04 EST Organization: University of Toronto/Ryerson Polytechnic Institute Lines: 11 We have been seeing adds for the ultimate system for the last few months, and I am wondering if anyone has taken delivery. I think we are about to order one, quoted delivery end January, so I may be able to offer an opinion in February. For anyone who hasn't seen the ads, try Byte: company is Micro Craft Corp. It has 68000 processor, and emulator cards for Apple (with 6512 chip on it), CP/M (with Z-80 chip), IBM (with 8086 chip) & CP/M-68 or UNIX for the 68000. The question of course is how good the emulations are. -- -- Dave Mason, U. Toronto CSRG, {utzoo,linus,cornell,watmath,ihnp4,allegra,floyd,decwrl, decvax,uw-beaver,ubc-vision}!utcsrgv!mason
