On the other hand, so does *every* edition of the Z80 CPU manual I've seen. These usually relate to the state of the carry flag after arithmetic operations. The behavior of the chip is more rational than the documentation suggests. I always thought that Kaite Spracklin (sp?) wrote the best of those books, but then I've never actually *used* any of these as a intro, having learned the machine before any of them were available.
