I too am relatively new to UNIX and uucp-news. It's a big, brave world for all of us who are cp/m refugees, and we're going to make a few mistakes along the way. Instead of being snotty, you should be helpful, so we can achieve UNIX- craftsman stage as soon as possible (and spread the word to our unenlightened friends). No doubt, there are some purists who don't want us, but the UNIX world will be the better for us. If you don't feel that way, then probably your grandparents were among the Yankees who didn't exactly welcome all those refugees from Europe, who spoke funny languages or had curly hair or whatever.
