Message-ID: <455@aplvax.UUCP> Date: Fri, 16-Dec-83 09:09:29 EST Article-I.D.: aplvax.455 Posted: Fri Dec 16 09:09:29 1983 Date-Received: Sun, 18-Dec-83 03:14:32 EST Organization: JHU/Applied Physics Lab, Laurel, MD Lines: 14 When Sanyo introduced their new $1000 MBC 555 PC, it received bad reviews because the IBM compatibility was minimal at best. But recently, I've seen adds touting the Sanyo MBC 550 as IBM PC compatible. Is the MBC 550 much more compatible than an MBC 555, or are they both losers? And yes, if the Sanyo does the same things as an IBM PC but is not IBM compatible, it is a loser. That isn't a reality I like very much, but there's nothing I can do about it. -- Don Davis JHU/APL ...decvax!harpo!seismo!umcp-cs!aplvax!ded ...rlgvax!cvl!umcp-cs!aplvax!ded
