Message-ID: <192@houem.UUCP> Date: Tue, 27-Dec-83 14:08:32 EST Article-I.D.: houem.192 Posted: Tue Dec 27 14:08:32 1983 Date-Received: Thu, 29-Dec-83 01:08:26 EST Organization: Bell Labs, Holmdel NJ Lines: 12 I need some help in transfering a file from an rcpm system up to unix. I know that if I am on the rcpm side i can invoke umodem to do the transfer but don't know how to do it when i am on the unix side. the cu command allows file diversion if you put a "~>:file" in the beginning of the file to be transferred but doesn't seem to work for me if i send the diversion signals and then a cat to the rcpm (or copy , pip, etc.). anyone out there know how to do what i want? Umodem is the preferred method because of the noise that is picked up during listings. HELP!
