I use the Jade Double D with 8" drives and like it.  No experience with
5 1/4" drives.
Just curious, why do you need another BIOS?  Jade gives some of the
best commented code out with the board.  I've adapted mine to 4 different
system configurations as my system has changed over the years with no 
problems.
