Message-ID: <2106@fortune.UUCP> Date: Tue, 27-Dec-83 13:16:00 EST Article-I.D.: fortune.2106 Posted: Tue Dec 27 13:16:00 1983 Date-Received: Thu, 29-Dec-83 01:07:34 EST Organization: Fortune Systems, Redwood City, CA Lines: 26 How does the 'r' command work in Wordstar V3.x? Why can't a cpm 'submit' work properly. Does WS do its own submit. If so, it doesn't leave behind a $$$.sub file, if my system is rebooted before the return from the cp/m command back to WS. Is the 's' spelstar command just a special purpose 'r' command? Could Spelstar be operated from the 'r' command? Could WS be patched by replacing SPELSTAROVR (about location 1000h) with DU to any command name, and get that command run off the 's' command? Is all of WS.COM cleared out of RAM when an 'r' command (or SPELSTAR) is invoked? Also, my version of XDIR3 (1.5) running on straight vanilla cp/m doesn't work properly when run from 'r'. -- From phipps Wed Dec 21 18:05:03 1983 To: burton {allegra,amd70,cbosgd,dsd,floyd,harpo,hollywood,hpda,ihnp4, magic,megatest,nsc,oliveb,sri-unix,twg,varian,VisiA,wdl1} !fortune!phipps
