My test of USI's flicker free scrolling is with regard to color
character displays.  According to USI documentation, you can set
a switch on the board to instruct it to ignore attempts by software
to temporarily blank out the screen while scrolling, since the blanking
out is unnecessary.  No hashing or fuzz appears on the screen when
scrolling occurs.
