Message-ID: <317@ihuxj.UUCP> Date: Fri, 9-Dec-83 19:49:34 EST Article-I.D.: ihuxj.317 Posted: Fri Dec 9 19:49:34 1983 Date-Received: Sat, 10-Dec-83 22:40:26 EST Organization: AT&T Bell Labs, Naperville, Il Lines: 34 (This line intended for the net line eater) I am currently using KERMIT for the IBM-PC. The banner line says: CUCCA IBM-PC Kermit-86 - ver 1.18 Field Test Version This version works well (but I only use the VT52 emulation to talk to UN*X from home for EMACS, VNEWS, etc.). The previous version that I used, ver 1.0, had a few problems with the emulation with EMACS. My question to the net is whether the version that I am currently using (ver 1.18) is the latest and greatest? And would someone mail me the .ASM source for this or the latest version as I only have the source for ver 1.0 (and I need to change the DOS escape sequence, i.e., ^]C, since it interferes with the proper operation of PROKEY). Please mail responses to me and I will post results to the net. (Famous last words!) Thanks. PS: I am also missing the source for the UN*X side to enable up/down load, I have another method to achieve the same results, but would like to use KERMIT. -- Daniel M.
