I was surprised to note that no one answered this question before I had a
chance to.  The WIZARD was played by Frank Morgan.  Although as you might
have guessed, I somewhat enjoyed the movie, I confess to not knowing any
other thing that Frank Morgan ever did.  I do feel that he did an excellent
job with the part.
