When people ask me why I won't work for a big company I say,
"Well, remember the scene in Tron where the camera is in the
sidekick programmer's qubiqle, and lifts up to show partitioned
qubiqles stretching off into the horizon?  That's why I won't
work for a big company!"

That scene crystallized and created an emblem for my prejudice 
against big companies.
