Rummaging through net.news.group recently, I found I couldn't keep track of
the players without a scorecard. Well, here is the scorecard for proposed 
groups and ungroups at my site:

net.games.go: I got a number of positive requests for net.games.go as well
    as Mike Turner, so I took some initiative and created it. This
    discussion is finally closed.

net.nlang.*: is still up in the air, but looks like it will fail for lack
    of long term interest.

net.biology: looks like there is some support for it, however net.bio and
    net.bio.expert do not. I don't think there has been enough interest to
    create it yet (start lobbying folks)

net.sources.pc: There is support for this, but I haven't seen very much pc
    software in net.sources, so I don't know if there is a need to split it
    out. Why not distribute to net.sources until there is enough of a
    volume to justify it?

net.movies.sw: This topic has outlived itself. MY attempt to restructure it
    seems to have failed. Methinks it is time to drop it, so unless someone
    can change my mind, I will most likely rmgroup it in a week or so.
    (net.movies.sw people, come to the rescue if you will!)

net.micro.trs: Lots of positive support. Time to shut up and create the
    thing.

net.origins: Feedback is mixed. Assuming net.biology is created, can't the
    various origin discussions be placed in appropriate topics such as
    biology, religion, or flame?

net.tv.drwho: Lots of positive feedback, but I also note that there has
    been almost no Dr. Who discussion recently except whether to create the
    topic. I don't know that there is enough volume, but its worth a try.

net.eulogy: Dumb topic. 

net.people: There is a need for people to leave notes about themselves when
    they change jobs or whatever... I don't know if net.people is the
    proper place, but unless someone comes up with a better location (I
    don't see why net.general couldn't work for now, but we'll see)

There you are folks.... I don't think I missed anything, but if I did, feel
free to let me know (I know you would anyway!!! :->)
