In darkest day it comes to creep
A sophomore itching waking sleep
It doesn't matter who or how
The main thing is I've got it now
And don't know how to lose it.

My friends have none, and never did
They think of me as just a kid
It doesn't matter where or when
The main thing is I had it then
And don't know how to lose it.

In deep regret I sit and mope
The time has past for hype or hope
It doesn't matter what or why
Cause all I do is sit and cry
You only lose it once.
