Administration Lines: 7 Apparently during WWII, in order to take advantage of their plentiful hydroelectric power, the Swiss rigged up what might be called an electric-steam locomotive. A pantograph(sp?) was mounted on the roof of the cab and the water was heated by an electric heating element! Unfortunatly, I dont remember the name of the book where I read about this but perhaps someone out there does. A reference to a photo would be appreciated.
