   Replying to Mr. Burton's letter:
I'm only 17 and was hoping to get a job on a western road (UP, ATSF, etc.) but
feel badly about how unstable the rail business is today.  Maybe I'll have to
stick with CS?  I would like advise whether bad or good about the industry and
employment opprotunities in it.  Anyway, I'd like to chat with anyone in the 
Bay Area or East since I've never been east of the Mississippi!!
