Last year I used (unsuccesfully) some Normark bindings (I have Fischer Europa 99 STs and Asolo Snowfields). I had problems blowing out of them about 1-2 times per day. Other tall people I have talked with have similar tales of woe; it seems that shorter people do not generate sufficient torque to pull the bail out of the bindings. This year I had a pair of the Asolo bindings (with riveted bails) put on my skis, and after 4 pretty good days of skiing, I have yet to come out of them. Anyone else out there have anything to add? (this group has been comatose long enough!) Paul Beiser ...hplabs!hpfcla!paul
