Subject: RE: Any news on Keith Emerson? I miss KE too. With the Dregs disbanded, the progressive music scene is abysmally dry. Aside from the soundtracks he's done (Nighthawks and Inferno) he also has a non-soundtrack called "Honky". It's on Bubblegum records (no foolin) which means it's very hard to find. But "Honky" has some truly brilliant moments on it. In particular, there is a typical Emersonesque counterpoint arrangement of "Bach on the Mast" that is every bit as awesome as the 2nd movement from Karn Evil 9 and the fugue in the "Endless Enigma". If you're an Emerson fan you should have this album, but good luck finding it. db Mail address : ...decvax!decwrl!rhea!orphan!blickstein ------------------------------------------- End Forwarded Message
