To quickly recap the previous discussion:
    Somebody asked where Cain's wife came from if the only children
    of Adam and Eve were Cain and Abel.  Tom Albrecht wrote that there
    Adam and Eve had other children besides Cain and Abel.  I claimed
    that Adam and Eve didn't have any daughters, and Tom directed me
    Genesis 5:4.

I must confess my error.  I reread chapter 4 before submitting my article
but overlooked chapter 5.  However, the daughters mentioned in chapter 5
do not appear to have been born yet at the time Cain gets married.  Cain
has a child in 4:17 and Seth is born to Adam and Eve in 4:25.  It seems
pretty clear that the former event occurred first.  In chapter 5, Adam
first has Seth and then has other sons and daughters.  Thus I infer that
Seth was married before any of these other sons and daughters were born.
