In my opinion, God took the form of a male, and when He returns to this earth, shall still appear as a male. This has nothing to do with male-chauvinism on my part just what I read in the Bible. Note the ``ie human male''. This is an interpretation of what you've read --> that masculinity is one of the salient features of Jesus' appearance. I, and probably many others, can easily see this as male chauvinism. Perhaps "in a like manner" simply means in the flesh. Maybe it means speaking Aramaic. Or having an abiding impatience with fig trees that don't bear fruit out of season. -- Larry West UC San Diego possible net addresses: -- ARPA: west@NPRDC -- UUCP: ucbvax!sdcsvax!sdcsla!west -- or ucbvax:sdcsvax:sdcsla:west -- Or try talking to God -- he'll pass it on to me.
