However, it has recently become of interest to me, so I'd like to bring it up. What experience, if any, do readers of this group have with raising kids in an interfaith marriage? What opinions, experiences, etc do readers have with the idea of exposing children to two religions and letting them decide for themselves? (A couple I know is in the midst of a somewhat heated debate on this issue. Both of them are pretty strongly committed to and active in their respective religions, (different Christian denominations) and neither seems willing/able to join the other's church.) My own opinion is that the idea of exposing children to both denominations, emphasizing the common points, without ignoring the differences is probably the best approach, since neither side seems willing to completely defer to the other raising the child in their own denomination. Other opinions? Responses mailed to me will be summarized and posted to the net. Chris Jachcinski AT&T Bell Labs *!ihnp4!ihuxm!cmsj
