When I moved to the Chicago area to work at Bell Labs
my motas stayed in Madison.  We had been together for
about 5 years, & we still are, but it's been weird.
In some ways we've gotten closer--it's easier to talk
about things long distance, safer albeit expensive--
but travel time eats up a significant fraction
of a weekend.  (Chicago <--> Madison = ~150 mi.)
Is anyone else in a similar situation?
