You have several points, but I'd like to point up something that I
thought I did mention in my article, which was that after being friends
with my friend John for a year and a half, he [finally! :-)] fell in
love with me.  That is, it *does* happen at least sometimes!

BTW, why do people always say "I never thought I'd be flaming at Arwen"
or "not to pick on Lady Arwen but..."?  You can pick on me!  You can
flame at me!  I'm certainly not always right!!  :-)
