A majority of married folks I know working here are out the door at the end of the day... the family responsibility. As a single person, though, I have absolutely no ties on me to be anywhere at anytime, therefore, I can be at work much longer into the night, and often am. I find this true of many other single people as well. So, perhaps this hypothetical employer should be looking for unattached, unmarried single workaholics, as they might put in far more voluntary OT hours than many attached or married people...
