Oh yes, I have loved and still cherish the experience. To be sorry it
happened, that sounds sad. I can understand that one's ego would be
hurt by the end of the relationship but to let that dominate one's
memories is a waste. It's like saying the good things didn't matter
or weren't real. It's as though you were just putting up with her
until you got what you really wanted. When you didn't, the time and
energy you invested were thrown away.

If she was dishonest with you, that's a different matter.
