You spend your whole life being dominated in one way or another, and this is only the proof you are powerless, and that the system of justice enforces your powerlessness. Few men will ever know what it is like to be completely humiliated, spread open for the taking, and have NO power over it. Not even revenge. The innuendo, the whispers of "she didn't fight back...", the pain and memories, my attitude towards men, aren't the worst part. It is being a suspect in a crime where I was the victim. If I am shot, I have a wound. When I was raped, no-one saw the damage really done. I am helpless. Truly proud of my gender :-) kevin sheehan PS. Raped by three men in San Jose after classes at SJS. Jury concluded she brought it on due to the presence of nearby redlight district. Two of the men have since been convicted of other rapes within 2 months. The bruises and her arm healed.
