Lines: 23 I heard the claim recently that there is no such thing as a completely platonic friendship between MOTOS. At first, I dismissed the statement as absurd. I have lots of them, I said. But then I considered the following watered down version: In every close friendship between MOTOS at least one of the two people at some time had a physical attraction for the other. First let me emphasize that I'm talking *close* friendships here, not casual friends or acquaintances. I mean someone you can really *talk* to. So what do you think? Plumb the depths of your experience. Have you ever had a *completely* platonic close friendship (i.e. one that was always platonic for both of you)? I haven't. (I'm not considering the repercussions of the claim here - lets first find out if it's true.) -- Randy Trigg ...!seismo!umcp-cs!randy (Usenet) randy.umcp-cs@CSNet-Relay (Arpanet)
