Not to mention the fact that singles are infinitely cheaper to relocate!
My former employer, Computervision, spent all of $800 to move me to the
128 area (back when I was single and renting) but $15K to move a married
co-worker the same distance.  And there are no problems with finding jobs
for spouses, persuading the family to move, paying house-hunting expenses
(OK, I know some singles own houses... no flames, please), etc.
