(With the disclaimer out of the way) I find myself wondering how other folks deal with ex-lovers. I have found that I become quite bitter and angry for a fairly lengthy period, i.e. many, many months after a breakup. I usually get over it eventually. I suspect that the length of time of anger is proportional to the length of time spent in the relationship and the true depth of feeling in the relationship. I also find that I never become close to my ex-lovers even as friends. I usually just get comfortable being around them again but nothing more serious than that.
