Yes, I believe in 1979(+or-1) and I think the Redskins were the victims.
One NFC team beat another by something like 41-6 during the last week of
the season, pushing that team into the playoffs. (For some reason, the
Cards and the Bears come to mind, but I don't have a sports book in
front of me.) I hope I've given enough info for the trivians to
complete.
