I occaisionally watch old Tom and Jerry cartoons. There is one cartoon that I particularly enjoy. Tom is trying to impress a female type cat throughout the cartoon by serenading her while playing a bass fiddle. Meanwhile Jerry is running around makeing trouble for Tom. During this cartoon, Tom continually sings a song that appeals to me. I don't know the title for sure, but a good guess would be "Is You Is, Or Is You Aint, My Baby". I don't recall too many other words. It's a sort of "Big Band" type song with a lot of pep (a real toe tapper). This is a long shot, but does anyone else know the song I'm talking about? Can anyone tell me who the singer is (not Tom) or what band performed it? And finally, is it possible to obtain a record of this song? I really would like to find it. Thanks in advance. Is I is, or is I aint John V. Smith
