Newsgroups: net.unix-wizards net.wanted net.unix I have a signon on our 4.2BSD system (the same problem happened in our old 4.1) whose userid is 0 (the root). csh is my login shell. WHY won't csh source my .login file? HOW can I get it to? For six months now, every time I sign on, I have to type: source .login and this is a pain in the neck! frustratingly, --Lorien Y.
