If you don't get into the Washington Hilton or you want to save
a few dollars, the Holiday Inn Connecticut Avenue is at 
1900 Connecticut Avenue, just across the street from the
Washington Hilton.  It's a typical highrise Holiday Inn
with free parking, but few other redeeming features. 

I have no stake in Hilton, Holiday Inn, or any other hotel,
but the previous message said there was nothing nearby.
Also there is a reasonably dependable Connecticut Avenue
bus service, so one can stay in the general neighborhood
and manage OK.
