  Are there any videotape recorders which are suitable for
home use, which can record *a single frame at a time*, but
which are not necessarily comparable in price to normal
home VCR's ?   Several years from now I will want to make
videotapes by connecting a home computer's output to a 
single-frame recording device to make computer-animated movies
with interesting graphics effects.
