Regarding my question about which 3 or 4 user interfaces you
consider exemplary:

I am not looking for a careful justification of the selection,
but rather just a short list.  The idea is not to gather reasons,
but just to see whether there are a very few interfaces that
people agree are the exemplary ones.

I hope this will make it easier for you and that you will
consider contributing a selection.
