I finally called SONY direct and asked for the name of a distributer. The distributer couldn't tell me the names of any retail outlet in the Colorado Ft Collins area though. My chief concern is that I don't want to spend ~$1K on a unit without knowing how well it performs. I have seen previous references by Chuck Forsberg in notes about behavior specific to Beta Hi-fi; specifically what is likely to be strange about it? I would also like to use it as a VCR; any comments on its use in either of these areas or how I could actually find one? Dave Barrett (now at hplabs!hp-dcd!barrett)
