The car:	79 Rabbit

problem:	If you use the windshield washer it appears to
		short the iginition system. At idle it will kill
		the engine. At highway speeds the engine begins
		bucking badly. Also one the warning buzzer (seat belt?)
		moans meekly at the same time.

Any one run across this type of problem before? I kinda suspect it's
the wiring in the steering column, but i haven't been able to locate
a wiring diagram for the car yet. Can't tinker with it at my leisure
as the car is my girl friends daily transportation.
