I own one. I should know. Did anyone catch 20/20 on ABC Thursday January 19th? They laid the story down straight. I would be most happy to answer any questions or provide what help I can to solve the problem. I do know a few ways to those who are interested. I have owned my 1980 Olds Cutlass Supreme (diesel) for 18 months and have put $2,500 in repairs on the engine alone. GM knows they ****ed up.. and they are most willing to settle with the owners. If you happen to live in a state (there's 22 of `em) which has a `lemon law'..check into it! I therefore submit this to any/all GM diesel owner (circa. 1978-1981) who wants to get even.
