Since this newgroup has been getting quieter and quieter lately,
let me ask an open-ended question (in two parts) about the 
relationship between AI and cognitive engineering:

a) How successful can present AI tools be for tailoring a user interface?
For instance, how could be AI be applied to personal calendars?

b) What could be improved about present AI tools (e.g. Lisp environments,
Lisp itself) to make them more user/expert friendly?
