But please -- "*Chocolate* Truffles and..." Not that the two will be confused for long, but here in Berkeley, with its fashionable chocolate shops, people are growing up thinking that a chocolate truffle is the only kind of truffle, and this bothers me. It's like modern teenagers saying they "heard that Paul McCartney was in some other band before Wings"; people on this net referring to the SDS as "some kind of terrorist organization back in the sixties, I understand"; national commentators misusing the word "hacker"; and so on. As an enthusiastic cook, I like both kinds of truffles -- real and chocolate. I hope the former will not be a casualty of the latter.
