Does anybody have any guidelines for how much space is needed when
putting terminals into a room for access by students as CAI?
We're planning on putting 12 student terminals in one room.
Students will normally not spend more than an hour or two at
a time on a terminal. Only rarely would all 12 be in use at once.
The terminals will be set in rows on long tables. Enough space
would be needed for students to be able to have a calculator, a
textbook and a notepad with them.

Obviously I can just use common sense and look at how a particular
setup fits, but I'd be interested in knowing if there's any literature
on this. Thanks.
