Several years ago he volunteered the statement that McFries are cooked in a mixture of sugar and (ready?) beef fat. In defense of McD's he added that this formula was adopted only after test marketing showed it to be preferred by the majority of McDonalds' target market. He also said that, for the same reason, McDonald's hamburger buns contain about 30% (if my memory serves me) sugar.
