This can be religiously driven, or determined by personal ethics. Not being a member of the first group, I can't speak for them. Certainly the second "Ethical" group can discuss the morality of vegetarianism. Examples of debatable points: a) Are fertile/infertile eggs ok to eat? b) Can leather products be used? c) Where is the line drawn in killing animals? Insects?
