It's not "The Johnny Carson Show".
It's not "The Carson Show".
It's "The Tonight Show".

You may, if you wish, add "starring Johhny Carson" (but who would?).  You  may
even  refer  to it informally as "Carson", referring to the man, not the show,
such as "I watched Carson last night".  However, such phrases as "Joan  Rivers
was on Carson the other night" are improper, in addition to being ribald.
